![]() ![]() Just out of curiosity can one get perma banned for these infractions and is there a way to monitor whether its a game forced DC or not and punish accordingly IE game crashes = no infraction. Just been disconnected by the game again and expecting another infraction for that. Originally posted by eroneousey:Had a game disconnect earlier today and received an infraction for that. I suggest you trying to diagnose that using this or by contacting Player Support or your ISP support to help localize the culprit.Ĭan also try native client, i think that Sync step is specific only to Steam version(contacting Steam services to find a game account associated with current Steam user), but i'm not 100% sure, and if your network is unstable it would still cause disconnects (and due to various reasons like server locations and used protocols it might not be so apparent with other games just like in that thread above, maybe somehow WoWs is more demanding, i'm not sure). So yes, waiting on that screen for more than 1 minute it pointless, but it's also not the problem with the game or servers themselves. The problem is that there's something wrong with the network when that happens, for example in a similar thread it all came down to old faulty router: ![]() Yeah, there's an improvement coming for sync screen, it's not supposed to get stuck forever, would instead timeout and display error message. ![]() Even then sometimes game would not synchronize for some time, then suddenly open normally like nothing ever happened. But it would just repeatedly fail to synchronize over and over until you control alt delete the page and sometimes even have to shut and reopen Steam before reopening the game. ![]() Originally posted by HEAVY FIRST RATE:Sometimes when I got dropped, you could tell the game is still running because you had the synchronizing screen running instead of going all the way back to Steam page. ![]()
